Someone recently told me about making an LTR list.
An LTR list is a list of people in your life that you like, trust and/or respect. They encouraged me to sit down and make a list of the people I know that fit into one of those categories. After I made the list, I went through and put an A next to those that I feel had all three areas (like, trust and respect), a B by those that I would hesitate to say all three about, and a C next to the people that I feel are not safe. (Not safe means they lack 2 or more of these areas.)
A people= those that we should be reaching out to and actively seeking to build relationships with.
B People= be cautious in these relationships
C People= those we need to keep at arms distance or step away from.
I can now say I have an LTR list. It was eye opening and humbling to realize how many amazing people God has put around me. I also came to realize some of the people in my life are not as safe as I had once thought. An LTR list is a valuable tool to assess the relationships in our life.
